I Like to Learn the Hard Way

Advanced functionality isn't always the best choice. Just because you can include certain features doesn't mean that you should. Even when users request an update, such requests have to weighed against how that change will affect the rest of the program. When you fix one thing, you usually break another.

For my first trick

I really want to try my hand at building a database application. I've got all the moving parts, I just need to figure out how to a) design the proper objects and b) tie the who thing together logically. Although, I may just choose function over form and ignore the fact that all I've got is a bunch of little boxes popping up all over the screen.

Website Design

It's always interesting when you get a bunch of people in a room together. A familar adage comes to mind: you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can please all of the people all of the time. It's a good thing that I like to learn new things.
